Matthew Modine is auctioning ten original photographs he took on the set of Stanley Kubrick's 1987 Vietnam War drama, Full Metal Jacket, with proceeds benefiting Purple Heart Foundation. Modine's photographs detail the behind-the-scenes making of Kubrick's wartime masterpiece. Kubrick, who was notoriously guarded regarding on-set photography, permitted only his starring actor to photograph the set, offering Kubrick fans a rare insider's glimpse into the nearly two-year film-making process. Modine will autograph and inscribe each photograph personally to the auctions' winners.
